The World Cup: Don’t Come to the United States – It’s Not Safe Here

The 2026 World Cup will begin in a couple of months. This event, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is colliding with an uncomfortable reality: a growing number of foreign governments regularly issue travel advisories about visiting the United States.

This is not a fringe phenomenon. Travel advisories are standard diplomatic practice. The U.S. issues them about other countries. Other countries issue them about the U.S. The tone and content of some advisories reflect real concerns that could shape attendance patterns for the World Cup.

What Other Countries Are Warning About

Several allied governments, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and Japan, routinely caution travelers about:

  • Gun violence and mass shootings – including the assassination of American citizens by ICE Gestapo
  • Civil unrest and political demonstrations created by ICE invading blue states
  • Hate crimes targeting minority communities, again created by ICE Gestapo goons
  • Strict law enforcement against immigrants and racial profiling upheld by SCOTUS

These advisories rarely say “do not travel.” However, as a person living in one of the blue states targeted in Trump’s civil war against his own country, I can tell you that it’s not safe to be here if you’re from another country. It’s not even safe for American citizens who don’t fit the ICE Gestapo’s stereotype of ‘white enough’ and ‘Christian enough.’

When foreign ministries highlight gun violence as a recurring risk factor, it reinforces a global image problem. The United States has a significantly higher rate of firearm-related deaths than other wealthy democracies. That statistic circulates internationally. It shapes risk assessments.

The U.S.A. Isn’t Stable Enough for the World Cup

Political instability also plays a role in the danger. The events of January 6 (Trump’s illegal insurrection against the democratically-elected government of the United States of America), high-profile protests, and polarizing election cycles have generated international headlines. For citizens of countries where large-scale political unrest is rare, the images are destabilizing.

Add to that widely publicized incidents involving aggressive policing, racial profiling, and harsh and uneven immigration enforcement, and you get a picture that makes some travelers hesitate. You can have no doubt that ICE will be patrolling the streets during the World Cup, and anyone without “their papers” will be in danger of not only being arrested, but also possibly being transported to one of Trump’s constitutionally illegal death camps.

How This Impacts the World Cup

The World Cup is not a small sporting event. It is one of the largest global gatherings on Earth. Tens of thousands of international visitors converge in host cities. Tourism revenue depends on international confidence.

If foreign governments emphasize risks, even moderately, some fans should reconsider. Insurance premiums for travel and event security may increase. Corporate sponsors may invest more heavily in risk mitigation. Host cities will need to coordinate visible, robust security measures. If ICE shows up, there will almost assuredly be rioting in the streets.

Increased police presence, bag checks, surveillance, and controlled entry points will be forced on all visitors. It’s also highly probable that they may be harassed by ICE. Since the Trump administration has decided that due process no longer matters in the United States, any overseas visitor can be detained indefinitely at the whim of ICE goons who are poorly trained and unsupervised. The United States has demonstrated over and over again that there is no accountability for ICE, so if you are a foreign visitor to the World Cup, and should ICE get you in their sights, there’s no guarantee you will ever escape.

There’s also the issue of visa processing and border enforcement. The U.S. has a reputation for strict entry protocols under the Turd Reich. Lengthy visa interviews, biometric screening, and the possibility of denial can discourage spontaneous travel. For fans used to Schengen-style open movement in Europe, this is friction. And if you object, that’s grounds for arrest and detainment. Which, in the absence of due process, could be indefinite.

The World Cup thrives on celebration, unity, and global goodwill, all the polar opposites of the MAGA Nazi pedophile protector agenda. And the Turd Reich has demonstrated over and over again how it feels about foreigners, even if they’re only visiting.

Economic Ripple Effects

Tourism is a confidence industry. Hotel bookings, airline capacity planning, local restaurant staffing, and transportation logistics all depend on reliable forecasts.

If even a modest percentage of international fans opt out, local economies in host cities could see measurable revenue shortfalls. The United States is betting on record attendance for the expanded 48-team tournament. That requires robust international participation.

It also affects brand America. Mega-events are soft power opportunities. They showcase infrastructure, hospitality, and cultural vibrancy. If the dominant international conversation revolves around safety concerns, that soft power dividend shrinks. And early projections are showing that visitors are re-thinking their attendance at the World Cup.

The World Cup: A Very Real Danger for Visitors

The Trump administration has made it clear time and time again how they feel about anyone who’s not a white nationalist Christian. Many reading this may think I’m engaging in hyperbole, but consider the fact that Trump is currently engaging in a plan to build dozens of detention and death camps, each with a capacity of thousands. Detainees at his concentration camps have already died under mysterious circumstances. Trump’s executive orders have done away with the mandatory due process rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution, and when Trump loses in court, he simply ignores the decisions and continues to violate the law and the Constitution.

The rhetoric concerning this being about deporting illegal immigrants is wearing thin as he and his administration murder more and more American citizens. If the Trump administration is willing to murder United States citizens, what do you think will happen to foreigners who visit our country for the World Cup?

Sadly, it is no longer safe for anyone who is not a white Christian nationalist to even visit the United States. Unfortunately, the World Cup will demonstrate this to be true.
